Shadow Theater as a Creative Tool in Education
The 6-day
course integrates imagination and handcraft. It uses art as a main method of
education. The course introduces the teachers to the main elements of a
theatre—silhouette, actors, music, and sound. Teachers will be acquainted with
the different stages of creating theatre and shadow theatre. The course
participants will have hands-on activities in creating shadow theatre.

Constructing activities in kindergarten as a playful educational tool
The course will present different types of interactive
approaches to how to implement the construction activities in the educational

on how to organize the educational process more interactively based on construction. The suggested methods in the course are regarding the
student/kids’ age. All materials – the learning cards and

Interactive tools for smart education
Participants will
acquire the knowledge and skills to use state-of-the-art, interactive
instructional tools, and electronic instructional materials for interactive
displays/whiteboards. They acquire the knowledge and skills to create
e-learning materials for large interactive images and to select and process
images from the Internet while respecting copyright. Teachers will work with
specialized software to create e-learning materials for large interactive
images (whiteboards and displays) and image processing software.

STEAM-based Approaches for More Practically Orientated Education
In this
structured course we discuss STEM teaching methods, how to plan STEM lessons,
the best ways to assess students in STEM, and how to engage your students. It
will explore the importance of implementing the Art in the STEM concept
(STEAM). The structured course participants will learn ICT tools to organize
their classes and groups, how to create a lesson plan suitable for STE(A)M
method, and to use ICT tools to create resources for teaching based on STE(A)M
method. The course is suitable for all stages of education - from early
childhood education to adult education.

Mobile technolgies in the classroom
Use of mobile telephones as a tool for extending the activities during the lesson and increasing the student's motivation. The program examines the ability to diagnose and evaluate students' performance during class by using cell phones and tablets. Students will be introduced to a variety of online platforms that provide a toolkit for diagnostics and evaluation by introducing different types of questions, presenting the results individually to each student, and summarizing for the class.
Particular
attention will be paid to the approaches to using such solutions over time and
their effectiveness in enhancing the quality of the learning process, as well
as to the requirements that must be met when designing test tasks for diagnosis
and assessment through mobile technologies.

Methods and Tools for Assessing Learners' Achievements
Assessment is an essential part of learners’ development. Effective assessment tools preserve motivation and create successful learners.
In this course, participants will expand their knowledge of the importance of assessment and the strategies and techniques of assessment. They will get a better understanding of the role of technologies in assessment. Tools for the inclusion of special needs students will be acquired. Participants will try out the new knowledge in the workshops of the course.
